Demountable, energy-efficient and high-performance solutions

Aircraft hangars for aircraft and aeronautical material

At VALL we have over 30 years of experience in designing, manufacturing and assembling prefabricated aircraft hangars using high-resistance, long-lasting materials, optimised for the aviation sector and offering a wide range of applications for businesses, investors, private individuals, and public entities.

What are aircraft hangars?

An aircraft hangar is a large steel or aluminium structure with a roof and enclosures, featuring open spaces and large access points that allow aircraft and large machinery to enter and exit easily and safely.

Although they have many different uses, the open-plan design, shape, and wide access points of our hangars make them ideal for storing large airplanes, helicopters, and drones, as well as parts for their manufacture, repair, and maintenance. They provide protection from the elements in order to enhance the safety and longevity of whatever they house.

At VALL, we design and manufacture high-performance aircraft hangars to offer the best functionality, comfort, and versatility. They can be adapted to each user’s requirements by choosing open or closed access points, a wide selection of materials for roofs and enclosures, and accessories that improve usability—such as heating systems or lighting solutions.

Modern aircraft hangars can be fully open-plan or incorporate some fully or partially enclosed areas for diverse uses: administration or office zones, toilets and bathrooms, changing rooms, storage areas, rest or relaxation spaces, canteens, vending machine areas, or high-tech maintenance and repair areas.

Advantages of VALL aircraft hangars: why choose them

VALL’s aircraft hangars give you advantages that translate into benefits in areas such as cost savings, functionality, business operations, corporate image, and alignment with company values, among others. A metal aircraft hangar is important for many reasons.

Availability, aircraft hangars with rapid operational readiness

Prefabricated aircraft hangars are quick-to-assemble solutions at the chosen location. Unlike more traditional construction, they require fewer permits and less bureaucracy, speeding the entire process to achieve operational readiness very quickly. They are the right solution for aircraft hangars that need to be up and running in the shortest possible time, meeting any high-performance space needs.

Open-plan layout and great height with large access points

A key advantage of metal hangars is their generous height, large entrances, and open space under the roof, making it easier for airplanes, helicopters, and large drones—as well as boats—to enter, exit, move, and be stored. In many other sectors and for other uses, this is an essential feature for optimal functionality.

Versatility and broad range of potential uses

Metal-structure hangars are extremely versatile and can be used for many applications. You can choose to have them completely open or to partition off certain areas, for example, for independent repair bays, spare-part storage, office space, staff facilities such as changing rooms and bathrooms, or even a shop.

Aircraft hangars available for purchase or rental for temporary or long-term setups

We offer both options, plus financing alternatives such as renting, leasing, or capital amortisation, so you can decide which is best for your situation—whether you need a hangar for a temporary project or intend to keep it in one location long-term or indefinitely.

Robustness, safety, and resistance of metal hangars

Metal hangars with a steel structure are robust and resistant to impact, tension, corrosion, fatigue, and compression. They also have excellent resistance to fire, salt air, humidity, seismic activity, and adverse weather conditions.

Savings and profitability of metal hangars

Their durability, low maintenance needs, high energy efficiency, and ability to adapt to changing requirements all translate into significant savings over their lifespan, making them a solution that quickly pays for itself, whether in economic downturns or boom times.

Long lifespan with minimal maintenance requirements

Their structural design and high resistance mean metal hangars last for decades and require virtually no upkeep beyond periodic cleaning.

Modularly designed aircraft hangars

They allow you to make the most of available land by adding further adjoining metal hangars if new needs arise.

Financial peace of mind with fixed costs

You’ll know from the outset how much the project will cost. Since there are no unpredictable changes or hidden charges, you can manage your budget without worrying about unexpected increases in the hangar cost.

Adaptability of metal hangars to new owner requirements

A demountable metal hangar can easily, quickly, and safely be adjusted to meet evolving needs.
  1. Dismantling, either to move it elsewhere, to remove it temporarily, or to sell it due to retirement, a change of activity, or other reasons and circumstances.
  2. Possibility of relocation if needed.
  3. Transportability, since it disassembles into separate parts that can be moved nearby or to destinations thousands of miles away.
  4. Expansion or reduction of the hangar’s size.
  5. Modular aircraft hangars, whether independent or connected, making the most of the land on which they stand.

Sustainability and environmental respect: VALL aircraft hangars are ECO solutions

VALL’s sustainable metal hangars are the green choice for reducing the carbon footprint of companies, public entities, and government agencies.
  1. Their long service life and low maintenance needs drastically reduce their environmental impact by minimising replacements.
  2. The recyclability of metals: the structure is 100% recyclable.
  3. Hangar manufacturing that maximises resource and raw material usage.
  4. No waste is generated at the installation site.
  5. Options for finishes and solutions that lead to high energy efficiency, such as the TWS roof.

Extensive customisation options for VALL’s prefabricated metal hangars

Interior: choose from different types of lighting, heating or cooling systems, safety features, and decide whether to partition the interior or leave it completely open, among other possibilities.
